During the workshop the Project Manager at the HSS, Amman Office, Mrs. Ulla Al-Shraideh mentioned that the foundation works in the field of democracy, peace and development, ever since its establishment on April 11, 1967.

Al-Shraideh added, HSS focused on practicing political education, with the aim of supporting democracy and civic education for people, she encouraged the participants to submit any suggestions or comments to the center's management or through the evaluations that are distributed.

The speakers of the workshop, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Sarhan and trainer Hassan Al-Amour said that entrepreneurship is the process of starting a business, organizing its main resources, assuming the associated risks, and creating a free business characterized by creativity and risk, and also the process of seeking to take advantage of opportunities without restrictions by using the available current resources.

With regard to social entrepreneurship, they said, it is the process of finding and implementing innovative solutions to problems and challenges faced by society, the goal of which is mostly non-commercial, but this does not necessarily mean that these solutions are provided free of charge.

They also stated that a community project is every community project that exists with the aim of meeting the unmet needs of a specific group of people, and that it is undertaken by individuals or groups (organizations or businesses), which apply practical skills and techniques in order to come up with innovative solutions that address social, economic and environmental constant challenges.
