The Hanns Seidel Stiftung regional office in Amman is seeking to hire, as of now, a recent university graduate in social sciences to support our work in the service of Democracy, Peace and Development.

Administrative Assistant / Social Media Coordinator (full time)

What we expect:

• Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Arabic, German strong asset
• Great Team Player
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word)
• Good knowledge of social media (Facebook, Twitter)
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems e.g. Typo3 will be an asset
• Driving license an asset
• Good understanding of the political and social situation in Jordan, Lebanon an asset
• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences
• Volunteering experience
• Jordanian citizenship

Tasks:

• Assist in communication & correspondence in Arabic and English (ideally in German), including basic translations
• Support the programme & finance managers in administrative tasks
• Management of social media channels
• Assist in the organisation of events in Jordan
