Enhancing Digital Culture: Protecting and Empowering Youth in the Digital Environment
The training combined awareness-raising sessions with interactive discussions and hands-on practice. Key topics included responsible and ethical digital behavior, digital risks and protection mechanisms, online legal accountability, and the prevention of digital violence such as cyber-bullying, harassment and privacy violations. Particular attention was given to promoting gender-inclusive participation and equal access to digital opportunities.
In addition, participants were introduced to a range of digital and artificial intelligence tools that support learning, content creation and employability. Practical sessions enabled participants to create basic digital presentations and documents, design online forms, and enhance their CVs using digital tools. The workshop also introduced job search strategies and freelancing opportunities relevant to the digital labor market.
The workshop contributed to enhancing participants’ digital confidence and awareness, supporting youth in the Northern Jordan Valley to engage more safely, responsibly, and effectively in the digital environment while strengthening skills relevant to education and future employment.
