The increase in the number of suicides over the past month has prompted the Lebanese Government and the Ministry of Social Affairs to pay particular attention to this issue. One of the main factors driving them to commit suicide is the trauma they receive as a result of deteriorating social and economic conditions and for Syrian refugees in particular the expulsion and escape from their country of origin. The shocking incident leads to a vibration of the person's understanding of himself and the world around him and to the formation of his feelings of helplessness.
