'How to fight Terrorism – Terrorism has no Religion', Workshop under the Patronage of the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs, October 19 - 20 , 2016 in Irbid / Jordan
The "Arab World Center for Democratic Development - UNIHRD' in collaboration with the Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung and under the Patronage of the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary Affairs implemented a second workshop under the title “How to fight Terrorism – Terrorism Has No Religion” (see previous article).
The main goals of workshop could be summarized as follow:
- to raise the awareness of youth about the danger of terrorism
- to strengthen the capacities of actors engaged in the management of the consequences of terrorist attacks targeting the communities and threatening the infrastructure in the country
- to recognize the truth about terrorist groups and their goals
- to realize the seriousness of terrorism and its effect on the future of youth
- to understand the Impact of terrorism on the relationship with the West
Students from various universities in Jordan and from various governorates, political parties, journalist, various NGO's and Jordanian Initiatives and representatives from the Ministry of Political and Parliamentary affairs as well as members from different Security Devises in Jordan joined the workshop and explained some issues related to the workshop topic.
